Take 4, Day 39 – Larger larvae

by NJ Ant FanPosted on September 20, 2020September 20, 2020
The Pavement princess with her eggs, tiny larvae, and larger larvae

The Pavement Princess now has larger larvae. Next week, she may have pupae. She seems to not care about the mites, and she is doing well. Apparently, if a tetramorium immigrans worker (or maybe a queen) stings you, the stinger tickles you. Their stingers are too short to hurt me, so it will only tickle a bit. I came up with a nickname for these ants; Tickler ants.
