My ant keeping backstory: It all started when I had watched Ants Canada videos too many times, and I started asking my mom to let me keep ants as pets. Every time, she said no. For several months, this was how it went until out of the blue, the Corona virus hit. this is when I felt like mom was most likely to say yes because I had a boat load of spare time.
