Today I decided to feed this Nylanderia colony some mealworm because they hadn’t had mealworm in quite some time. When I gave it to them, they quickly began to feed on it. Before Long, I spotted trophalaxis between a nanitic and the queen, so I made sure to photograph them.

Over the next few weeks, I will need to fatten up all of my ant colonies so they can survive brumation because brumation time is drawing near.
