Lasius Neoniger – Brood!

This is why I cant see that turnaround chamber. She filled it in!

About a week ago, my Lasius Neoniger queen had an egg. Today, she has two eggs. I had to use a very unorthodox method of getting the photos, but it worked. This involved four large display cases, a yardstick, an Ants Australia outworld, a light, and the camera that I use to take the photos. This setup provided a way to take photos of her and her brood from below, which is the only way you can see her. The photos came out amazing for a first attempt at photos from underneath her nest.
