Take 4, Day 121 – 3 Nanitics!

by NJ Ant FanPosted on December 13, 2020December 13, 2020
Tetramorium queen with three nanitics
Here are the three Nanitics and their queen

On Friday, I watched The Pavement Princess unfold her third nanitic! It has only been a week since the last one arrived! Now the brood tending has become much easier for the queen, who now only has roughly 1/4 of the brood-tending to do each day. She used to have all of the brood-tending to herself. Her colony is slowly getting larger. The ants are rather inactive, but I need to move them because a mold problem occurred yet again. How many times do I have to move them?!?
