In May 2021, I caught this Nylanderia sp. queen ant. I refer to this queen as Nylanderia #5 in order to not lose track of her. This queen is very productive, as she raised twenty or more nanitics. Yesterday I had to move her to a new nest again because her old nest was running out of moisture and was also a mess. I also provided the colony with their first foraging area, which I dumped the colony into. The ants then moved into the test tube nest after all ants were in their outworld. The move was completed without incident, and I gave the colony some peace so they could move into their nest. About an hour later, the colony was settled in nicely.
