Take 3, Day 119 – More Trophallaxis!

by NJ Ant FanPosted on November 22, 2020November 22, 2020
Brown Eyed Girl performing trophallaxis with one of her nanitics!

One day, I fed Brown Eyed Girl some honey, and the whole colony flooded out of the nest to feed! A little while later, I took an amazing photo of trophallaxis between a nanitic and the queen! I probably could not have planned that any better. While they were feeding, the queen came out, and subsequently proceeded to stuff her face! This nanitic stuffed her even more.
