Onetenna and her first Nanitic!

Well, Onetenna finally had a Nanitic this morning. I just had a random look into Onetenna’s test tube, and she had a little nanitic with her. I will soon feed them, and then I will connect them to their new nest and outworld.

One day this week, I saw a nanitic that was wandering outside of the nest. I took some video of this nanitic feeding, and she soon returned to her nest. The feed I am using is Sunburst ant nectar, which she seemed to like.

Over the week, Scar Smile has gained more and more nanitics, and now she has 9! In this photo, she has 8 plus one pupa, but that pupa turned into a nanitic a few days later.

This is Onetenna’s new nest and outworld. This setup is pretty much escape-proof, and invasion proof. Something tells me Onetenna and her nanitics will love this nest. Since Onetenna’s species takes 64 days to have a worker, they will not outgrow this nest for a while.

Here is a video of a nanitic feeding. Enjoy!
