Tetramorium immigrans Colony – More workers & brood

by NJ Ant FanPosted on August 16, 2023August 16, 2023
Tetramorium immigrans colony
My largest Pavement ant colony in their nest. Since the last update, the brood pile has grown significantly.

Around two months ago, I posted about this colony of Tetramorium immigrans, aka Pavement ants, who were then at ~20 workers, give or take a few. Shortly after that post, the colony started growing faster, and the size of the brood pile steadily increased. They have recently surpassed thirty workers, with many more on the way.
