One day I noticed Scar smile’s test tube on the floor. They seemed to be going completely nuts, so I got them out of their old tube, and instantly two nanitics started running on my arm. The queen also ran on my hand, but I managed to brush them all back into the container, and there were no escapees. Scar Smile gets her name from the way her wing scars form a somewhat creepy smile on the back of her thorax.

Onetenna has been at peace in her nest. I fed them yesterday, and they fed for several hours. The queen did not enter the outworld, which is pretty understandable. They are not really trying to escape, which is normal for captive ant colonies that are small. These ants are also very cute, especially the queen. In case you are new to my website, Onetenna gets her name from the fact that she only has one antenna.
